As you finish your swing, you feel the thrill of watching the ball land softly near its target. Youʼve just created exactly what you wanted. So why doesnʼt that happen when youʼre on the golf course? Maybe it’s your mental game.

The Mental Game Basics Workshop is a weekend golf workshop where you will exercise and enhance your mental focus, clear vision, emotional balance and your ability to be physically present and relaxed with every shot on the course. In a highly interactive and experiential process, you will build a foundation of effective mental attitudes and develop everyday practices for greater success and enjoyment in playing the game. Using the same mental-strengthening techniques as tour professionals, you will experience your confidence and your game reaching new skill levels. The weekend takes place on and off the golf course. It provides coaching on essential mental game principles and personal attention during on-course play. It is appropriate for players of all skill levels. The only requirement for attendance is to bring your own golf equipment, and be prepared to work hard and have fun!

The Philosophy of Golf Mastery

The principles of effective living, whether focused on golf or any other endeavor, follow certain consistent guidelines. Here is a sampling of guiding principles that form the foundation our work.
  • The mind is the source of our greatest power to affect the quality of our lives.
  • Everyone has an innate ability to learn and develop new ways of living.
  • Mastery is a way of life. There are no short cuts.
  • Thinking the same way and doing the same things produces the same results.
  • Awareness + Coaching + New Action = New Results. Anything is possible. It is never too late.
  • Practice makes permanent. Coaching is essential for establishing effective new skills.
  • Personal choice trumps personal habits.
  • The Head, the Heart, the Gut each have unique voices. Your body will follow what it hears.
  • Fear, Frustration, Doubt and Anger are all common emotions that stand in the way of uncommon results.
  • Choose how you want to play and who you want to be. Every moment is a new chance for you and your game.
  • Combine a clear heart with a clear mind and anything is possible.
  • Find the joy in your practice and it will soon become your play.
  • Awareness is the conscious link between your mind, your body and emotions – all of which have a crucial impact on your swing.
The Mental Game Basics Workshop is conducted in English, in a classroom and on the golf course - either a 9-hole or 18-hole course. We will work with your course managers to determine time management and logistics as you secure the space. In a club setting, we recommend using a private event space for non-course activities and meal breaks.
Number of Players
A minimum of 16 players is required for the workshop, and maximum capacity is 40 players.
